Are you travelling as a turist or as an explorer?

There' s an italian singer, who defined people as "world's salt". 

Italians really love to compare every aspect of the world with their food. 

But what about considering people as "spices". We share the same planet and fortunately we are all so different.  Our personality drives our decisions, and so our path. 

This is kind of giving a complex taste to te world, but so delicious! Definitely better than just salty bread...

Travelling gives you the possibility to meet and speak with so many definied"spicy"people, and from this precious possibility you can realize that travellers are actually coming from 2 different categories: The explorers and the tourists.

So what's exactly the difference?

Some of them don' t like to challenge themselves, don' t like to feel too much in contact with cultural differences, don't like to take risks. For those ones, travelling means "relax", "pleasure", "retreat" from a working routine. Travellling is seen as something uncommon, rare, and it works just like a "short holiday". It has all comforts, but as said, it works on duration of generally not more than 2 weeks.

So those ones are "the turists", people feeding the travel and pleasure economy, while enjoying the beach view from their 4 stars Hotel.

At the opposite, like the "yin and yang" symbols are, explorers are risk takers, adventure venerators, who let mix of culture influence their inner soul, as well as learn and accept inconvenience.

They don' t live in pleasure, they have a different meaning of "relax", and their "retreat" is their own nomad life, pleasing their eyes of beautiful destinations.

This is how explorers do, and they are probably working at the Hotel's bar, where the tourists stay.

For this last definition, explorers travel as much as they can, workimg and travelling at the same time, while the more they earn the more they can see and..survive too..

From this 2 categories start spreading an immense divercity and mix of the two ones. That s about the personal "spicy" everybody has.

As our idea of real traveller, is the explorer, a genuine person in love with the world, who s working hard just to see all the beauty it has to offer.

We work on sharing their stories, to make other people know how inspiring and incredible their life is, teaching that you don t have to be reach to travel the world.
